Enterocoelous

The condition of embryonic development in which the body cavity is formed by the splitting of the mesoderm
The condition in which the coelem forms from pouches “pinched” off of the digestive tract

Coelem begin as splits within the solid mesodermal mass
Mesoderm arise as lateral out-pocketing of archenteron with hollows that become coelomic cavity

Cleavage: Holoblastic, spiral and determinate
Cleavage: Radial and indeterminate

Occurance: Protostomes
Occurance: Deuterostomes
